Genre: Indie Rock
With the self-titled debut album, the band Spinster proves that rock music can be soothing without losing its drive.
“Sisyphus,” the album opener, is a delightful and engaging song that doesn’t even need a chorus to draw you in. Vivid guitar melodies build the track’s vibe and highlight the lovely, pleasant voice telling a story. The song is quite delicate, yet showing some dark shades similar to those of Father John Misty’s “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings.”
Great song! Cool cover art too :)
