Secret Treehouse, a band from Norway, released their gorgeous debut album “The Big Rewind” with a ravishing single called “Sinking.”
If there’s one thing Secret Treehouse is best at, it's creating catchy choruses, and this song is a great example of that. The vague dream pop sound and minimalistic verses work great to accent the energy wave of the chorus. Having a pretty dark lyrical component, “Sinking” nevertheless sounds quite romantic thanks to the bright vocals. Combining a guitar power and a pop approach, the band presents their own distinctive style and vision.
