Manchester based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lakshmi has recently released a startling ballad called “Resurrection.”
The song’s ‘60s throwback sound is incredibly heartwarming and modest. It builds up slowly and so charmingly that you lose track of time. As the song goes, Lakshmi’s impressive, unique vocals gain power, yet remain delicate. On top of that, “Resurrection” has an original folky element to it - the brilliant, wistful mandolin line. This composition shows the artist’s remarkable musical flair, so look out for Lakshmi’s upcoming debut EP.
