“Politely Polluting” is the splendid third single from the upcoming album of Prophecy Playground, a project founded by singer-songwriter and composer Or Izekson.
The song has a solid folk base wonderfully embellished with psychedelic and baroque pop elements. Sounding as if from a fairy tale, the strings shape up delightful harmonies and textures. The marvelous journey of “Politely Polluting” is led by the discreet, mellow vocals. At the end the arrangement reveals the chaotic, anxious beauty, in a way reflecting the theme of the song - the people’s place in the virtual age. The band’s debut album “Comfort Zone” is to be released in February 2020, and for now check out this music video filmed on an old 8mm camera.
