Kentucky band People Planet has shared a remarkable and deep new song called “Lux.”
The track is built around the themes of sexual exploitation and manipulation, expressed in the straightforward and sharp lyrics. The soft guitar accents alternate with the lively energy waves very naturally. At the same time Daisy Helmuth’s voice adds such an honest and highly appealing quality, similar to that of Sharon Van Etten. “Lux” is a great example of how a catchy chorus and compelling songwriting work together like a charm.
