A song about breaking free from a problematic relationship has never sounded lighter. Behind the project, there’s talented singer-songwriter Lauren Elizabeth, whose beautiful vocals tell the story with a sweet sincerity. The ethereal guitar and synths intertwine and build a wonderful frame of the composition. “Flight” develops in a nice and mellow way, flourishing into an uplifting, refreshing chorus.
