The Austin, Texas hip hop duo of Megz Kelli and Dougie Do have recently released their gorgeous and creative sophomore record, and “Spending Time” is an undeniable gem off of it.
This song about unhealthy obsessions develops over the relaxed and elegant soundscape. The springy guitar line adds a nice dynamic in a very subtle way. And Front MC Megz Kelli’s smooth and solid performance is complemented by the tender, pleasant melodies of featured vocalist Ava Raiin.
