British Sri Lankan versatile artist Pokkisham releases “Yes To This,” a charming new single off her EP of the same title, out in 2022.
This wonderful song about diving into a new love and accompanying fears nevertheless sounds hopeful and inviting. The gentle keys and soft rhythm section build a perfect base for the ballad. The guitar adds some interesting textures to the smooth sound of the track. And Pokkisham’s warm voice has a pleasant, tender quality to it, which unfolds even more with the vulnerability that comes with the lyrics.
