On “Holding On,” Alba Rose shares her conflicted feelings and how difficult it is to let someone go. The track has a very interesting dynamic, the rhythm section is perky and engaging. The breezy keys and light guitar create a beautiful, airy soundscape. And the gorgeous vocal part mixes deep and playful tones, seasoned with jazz influences.
