UK band Pocket Sun shared an enchanting and breezy new single from their forthcoming EP “Binocular,” out on May 13.
“Never Mind” is woven from the dreamiest textures, while lyrically it explores how the burdening past absorbs the present sometimes. The shimmering synths make the track feel light yet a little trippy, and the captivating guitar solo expands the space by the end. The gentle, buttery vocal performance embellishes the composition, but not centers the attention on itself. The song keeps a beautiful balance, and the gorgeous, imaginative video by band leader Gina Tratt highlights it.
