“Hold On Tight” is the elegant and inviting second single from Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Brittain Ashford’s upcoming album “Trotter,” out on May 19.
This beautifully vulnerable and Introspective work nevertheless sounds incredibly lightweight and dynamic. The breezy guitars and pleasant rhythm section build a captivating base of the track. Ashford’s lovely, mellow singing unfolds in a dulcet and very catchy chorus. Overall, the shimmering layers of “Hold On Tight” combine feelings of melancholy and hope.
