“Godstar” is the inviting first part of the spellbinding newest two-track release “Dawn, Day, Dusk” by Canadian band Elephant Stone.
This unhurried, entrancing composition gives us 2 minutes of ethereal adventure. The compelling soundscape highlights the delicate sitar intertwining with the mesmerizing tabla dynamics. It’s a perfect combination of mystery and tenderness. For this record, the collective led by musician Rishi Dhir drew inspiration from Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” and traditional Indian music, which is gently conveyed in “Godstar” and turned into an epic experimental fusion in the second single called “The Imajinary, Nameless Everybody In The World.”
