Vancouver-based artist Sam Lynch shared the inviting second single from her forthcoming album “Outline,” to be released on November 15.
“Hurt” is filled with a soft, shimmering sound, wistfulness, and gripping melodies. The delicate guitars and soothing rhythm section set a quiet, introspective mood. On top of that, Lynch’s pleasant, cottony vocals and honest lyrics feel incredibly touching. It results in a piercingly captivating indie pop / folk mix.
