Athens, Georgia band Penny Loafer has presented the absorbing second single from their upcoming debut EP “Daily Deal,” to be released in March.
“Ugly” is an intriguing dreamy / shoegazey indie rock tune with a spacious sound. The driving, misty guitars and dynamic rhythm section shape the track. On top of that, the airy vocal layer adds a mysterious appeal with its lyrical and melodic repetitiveness. It feels very hypnotic and at the same time refreshing.
