“Maybe It's Time” is the brilliant closing track of the beautiful latest album “Buoy” from Dr. Rocket, a Seattle-based project created by musician Nick Carver.
Radiating with wonderfully crafted production, this folk / soft rock tune feels wistful, but at the same time hopeful. The sweet and sincere vocals convey the artist’s reflections on self-sabotage in a relationship. The delicate guitars and keys weave mesmerizing patterns, fully flourishing in the second half of the song. With its charming melodies and pleasant retro flavor, “Maybe It's Time” sounds completely absorbing.
