“Devotion” is the entrancing first half of Portland-based outfit Presidio’s new double single.
With its intense, brooding aura, the song feels breathtakingly vulnerable and touching. The melancholic guitars and driving rhythm section pull you in into the abyss of regret. The heartfelt vocals carry a lot of pain, burning in the powerful melodies of the chorus. In an incredibly beautiful and tender way, the second track, “Into The Light,” continues “a story about fracture, healing, and transformation.”
