Paris, France-based artist Ellen Birath presented the delightful first single from her upcoming EP, “Mother of Pearl,” to be released on June 12.
“Fire at Me” bursts into your ears with its playful and joyful jazz pop energy. In her lovely, honeyed voice, Birath shares her experience of being a new parent, with an honest yet humorous approach. The upbeat instrumental part, composed by David Paycha, flourishes with bright keys and lively drums. This glowing song is also accompanied by a wonderful stop-motion music video created by David Paycha and Sophie Cortade.
