Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter August Benjamin shared the excellent first single from his upcoming self-titled album, to be released on November 13.
With its touching lyricism and cozy country vibe, “Surrender” sounds very inviting. The gentle guitar and fiddle lines, supported by the light rhythm section, frame the track. In his warm and heartfelt voice, August expresses that “not all endings have emotional closure.” Beautiful and sincere, the song makes for a great listen.
