“Vincent” is a stunning new single by Basset, the Toronto, Canada-based duo of Yasmine Shelton and Sam Clark.
This strikingly nostalgic track draws you in with its moving, minimalist delivery. Inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s letters to his brother, the song celebrates the very common human struggles of any artist’s life. The charming, passionate vocals are accompanied by atmospheric guitar lines and a gentle piano towards the end. The composition sounds soft, organic and completely enthralling.
