Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Eleanor Hammond presented her hypnotizing new single “California Goth.”
Steeped in gloomy yet gentle tones, the song captivates with its piercing lyrics. In her beautiful, mellow vocal part, the artist dives into how “we obsess over what doesn’t matter and miss the melancholic impermanence that makes life precious.” The soft guitars and keys accompany the performance, anchored by a light dynamic. As a result, the track perfectly blends a pensive sound and gripping melodies.
