Genre: Indie Folk
Long Beach, California-based singer-songwriter Jordan Smith Reynolds has shared his beautiful new single, co-written with producer Justin Sinclair.
“Wait Awhile” is a reflective and vulnerable folk ballad that flourishes with warm melodies. In his soothing, tender vocals, Jordan sings about “taking a breath, grieving what is gone, and finding strength in stillness.” The cozy sounds of guitar, banjo, piano, organ, and flute are accompanied by measured percussion. Touching and nostalgic, the song makes for a wonderful listen.
