Nashville, Tennessee singer-songwriter Nellen Dryden unveiled her absorbing new single “Mermaid Blues.”
It’s a tender and contemplative soul ballad with a hypnotic atmosphere. The mellow, organic sounds of guitar, piano, harpsichord, and banjo are complemented by soft bass and percussion. With her elegant vocal performance, Dryden dives into deep reflections and expressive metaphors. The track’s retro allure and aquatic sonic layers make it especially beautiful.
